annual general meeting, The annual meeting of the dub was held on y lO 14th inst., Mr Jenks presiding. annual report and balance sheet. The following report on the year's proceedings was submitted on Friday evening to the club by the chairman:*Yoijr committee have much pleasure in placing before yon the yearly statement of accounts ending 30th. ?lAic, 1005. A hearty vote of thanks is dee to all 1 officials for their services during the past year. We regrot that Mr J. Whyte who has held the position of Secretary to the Club during the past feu years has resigned the office. Applications for tho position will he considered this evening. Tour committee now retire but arc •eligible for rc-clection. The balance-sheet showed:
