HOME MARKETS. Messrs Balgety and Co., Ltd , have received the following cablegrams from their London office, dated Gtli inst : “ Tallow - market weak ■ prices unchanged. Butter —sinoe date of our last telegram prices are unchanged. Frozen beef and lamb, prices are unchanged. Frozen mutton (in general) since our last telegram prices ara higher by £ per lb., in consequence of small stocks temporarily.” WELLINGTON WOOL AND PK-.N SALES. Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd., report : We offered to-day Go bales of wool, 2000 skins, 950 hides and a quantity of tallow. There was again excellent competition for the wool, some lambs wool bringing 9|d and crossbred 9|d. We quote : - Good crutchings 7id to Bd, medium crutchings 7d to 7Mk inferior and seedy Gd to G : ,’d. Crossbred 8d to 9 [d. There was ssrong competition at old rates. We quote : Merinos 7kl to 8-]-d ; fine crossbreds 7id to BJd; coarse to B.|d ; dead and broken Gd to short wools 7d to 7-Jrl ; lamb skins 7d to Bd, Butchers green up to Gs lOd each.

The High Commissioner cabled on the eighth inst: “Hemp market is dull and very little business is doing. Stock is accumulating, the number of hales in stock being 2007 against 927 for same period last year. Average price good fair Wellington on spot £2O. July-August shipments,£37. Manila fair current grade July and August shipments £JG 10s. "
