WOOL PROSPECTS. At the Rank of New Zealand-meet-ing on Friday, Mr H. Beauchamp, Acting-Chairman, referred to the rise in the price of wool, which, he said, was in a great measure due to the steady increase in the importation of wool, notably fine crossbreds, into the United States of America.
