“ Bv True Sport.” G. Dunn lias appealed to the Manawatu Rugby Union against the life disqualification cast upon him by the Foxton Executive. The head body have fixed Monday next, 9.30 a.m., for the hearing, and I am led to believe the Foxton Executive have been numerously notified to be present. Amongst those likely to be called are Messrs G. A. Simpson, J. Frew, J. Jilletf, and the secretary. The nature of the grounds of appeal would indicate seme very contradictory evidence being heard at next Monday’s meeting in Palmerston North. Arrangements have been mada for Messrs Manning, Nash and Richards to take charge of local matches whenever possible—so far as refereeing is concerned. Mr E, G. Sutherland has als® become attached to the Manawatu Referees Association. The football sports in Palmerston North on Monday next should prove worthy of a visit.
