Manawatu Rowing Club
A meeting of the committee of the Club was held in the secretary's office yesterday evening, and attended by Messrs Gower (captain), Overend, E. Healey and R. Moore (secretary). The following new members were elected : W. Bradcock, C. Cnmmerfied, F. H. Morgan, Edwin Walker, J. Murray, A. Bradhy, J. Thompson, W. Howan, W. Ashmore, and Dr Rogers. A tender by Mr Andrew Jonson for repairing outriggers, etc., was accepted, The committee also considered a suggestion sent in by one of the club members for landing boats by means of a trolly and win less, but the scheme was impracticable.
