Mr Vile, speaks in Foxton on Friday, 19th inst, William Ray, of Wairnna, contests the Clutha seat as an independent. Mr W. Dickson will contest the Oroua seat in the forthcoming election in the interests ot the Government. At a Ikrgely attended meeting held in Wellington last night and addressed by Mr Massey, leader of the Opposition, it was decided to form a Political Reform League. Mr T. Clarkson, a member of the Canterbury Times staff and wellknown in cycling circles, has definitely decided to be a candidate lor the Avon seat at the next general election.
