He was met on arrival by Mr Balfour, Prime Minister, ! and Lord I.ansdowue, Minister of i Foreign Affairs. ■ Much comment has been oc- ! casioned b/these statesmen meeting ■ the King, and by the subsequent announcement that the naval manoeuvres have been postponed. The Admiralty explains that it might cause inconvenience if the manoeuvres were executed in June, as planned, and unless executed in their entirety they would fail to give , the lessons which it is desired to in-! culcate. 1
