THE BOROUGH ELECTION.
J? tHB EWIOB Oi' 'ME 31A KAWAT C lIEIUIiD. Sir, was very glad to notice in your paper the announcement that Mr F. W. Frankland is going to stand for the office of councillor for the borough, f anl sure all of us who listened to his pointed speech cn Friday night will ftgred that Mr Frankland possesses the capacity for such a position. It depends entirely upon the public what soft of representatives they choose, and having known Mr Frankland intimately tor the last six months, I can only say say this : that a man who lias travelled through ten different counifies, and had experience amongst different people is worthy of a position as councillor of our town.—l am, etc., I Fax.
