Football.
NOTES. By “ True Sport.” So great was the business at the Manawatu Rugby Union meeting on Thursday last that the gathering, after four hours sitting, had to adjourn till Tuesday night next. Mr C. H. Warden was in town today, and, in an interview with Mr E. G. Sutherland, supplied much valuable information relative to the proposal of Foxton becoming a section of the Manawatu Rugby Union. These facts will be made clear at the meeting of delegates to-night, and it behoves all clubs intending to enter for the competition to be represented at to-night’s meeting. Mr Warden, who is a member of the Manawatu governing says football promises to progress more than ever in Palmerston and district this present season.
