Moutoa Notes.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) It is said that one of our local farmers is to be married shortly to a young lady of the teaching profession. Being a very popular member of the district, we wish himself and his future bride every happiness in their wedded li£p- Very likely we shall won hear of some others here following his good example. The dry weather has at last broken up, and for once the change has come at a very opportune time, for now all the harvesting is practically finished. By the way, while on the weather topic, why is it that one sees the school children who have long distances to come, trading along, despite the weather, while but few of those who live close to the school, venture out. Strange, isn’t it ? The people out here were very much disappointed over the school excursion ' not taking place. We hope, however, » that it has only been postponed for a short time, and that a general meeting . will soon be called to decide the ! matter.
