At Thames on Saturday, Certainty won the Autumn Stakes from the consistent Romeo. At the Nelson meeting last week, G. Laing and A. McConnon were disqualified for twelve months for alleged deliberately pulling their charges (Valkyrie and Magnificent) off the course during the Second Hurdles.
