THE NEW ZEALAND UNION. Last night at Wellington at a meeting of the committee ot the New Zealand Rugby Union, three more men were provisionally sellcted for the colony'* team to visit England. They are Messrs McKenzie, of Auckland; Thompson, of Wanganui; and Whisker of Mauawatu. As in the case of the other seventeen already selected, they will have to pass a medical examination, and retain their playing form. Six more men have yet to bo selected. It was decided not to accept the terms offered by the New South Wales Union for a visit to Sydney of the New Zealand team on its way to England. The North v. South Island match will be played on June 3rd at Wellington to give the selectors of the team for Home a final opportunity in their selections. The annual meeting of the Union will be held on May 3rd. It is understood that four teams will be found fighting out the Foxton championship. viz., Awahou, Old .Boys, Wanderers, and Motuiti.
