UNDER “Tho Divorce and Matrimenial Causes Acts Compilation Act 1901.” TO Reuben Calvert Alsford, late of Foxion in tho Provincial District of Wellington Labourer, TAKE NOTICE that a writ of summons, bearing date the 9fch day of March, 1904, was issued out of this Honourable Court commanding you to appear ami answer the petition of Amy Annie Alsford of Foxton aforesaid, praying for a dissolution of her marriage with you on the grounds (1) That yon have deserted the petitioner. (2) That you have been for four years and upwards an habitual drunkard and (3) That you have habitually been guilty of cruelty towards the petitioner. In default of your appearing, the Court will proceed to hear and determine the said charges, and you will not he allowed to address the Court. Therefore take notice that for the purpose aforesaid you are within 31 days from the date of the last appearance of this advertisement to attend in person or by your Solicitors at the office of this Court at Palmerston North, and there to enter an appearance in a book provided for that purpose, Reginald Moore, of Foxton, is the Solicitor for the petitioner.
