ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS’ REPORT. Messre Abraham and Williams held their usual monthly stock sale at Shannon on the 15th. There was a large attendance of buyers, and every line was quitted at satisfactory rates, the prices realised being as follows ; F m ewes ios qd to 14s, 2 4 and 6tooth ewes 14s od, 2-tooth wethers 14*, half-bred do 13s qd, store lambs 7* gd and 8s qd, special 2-tooth ewes XBl, Southdowns 31s, Border Leicester 265, weaner calves 17s 6d to 275, yearling# 355, 18-month 32s 6d, heifers in calf 45» to 6os, 2-year steers 73s 6d, 18-month steers 43s to 455, weaner pigt 8s to 8s Od, slips 12 Od. THE PRICE OF HEMP. The Agent-General cables that the price of New Zealand hemp, good fair Wellington grade, on spot, is £3O per too, April to June shipments, £29 ios. The Manila market is active, with a good demand £4l per ton.
