AUSTRALIA v. NEW ZEALAND. The game ended on Monday evening —a draw. The total for Australia's first innings was 533. New Zealand’s first essay realised 138, and in the second seven wickets were down lor xi 3 when stumps were drawn. The team to play against the Australians at Wellington is the same as played in Christchurch, except that Hickson replaces Fisher. Bannerman has been appointed one ofthe umpires.
