The Storm arrived at Lyttleton at 0.45 p.in. from Poston, and sailed the same evening on return to this port. The Putila, due from Greymouth to-day, did not get in on the morning tide and may p ssihly go on to Wanganui. The Himitangi. after unloading coal, goes to Westport to load coal for Wanganui. At Farewell Spit this morning the sea was smooth, bar. 30*34 ; Westport moderate sea on the bar, wind light north-east, bar. 30’3i ; Greymouth bar was rough, easterly breeze, bar, 30.30.
