Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Coley and Brad* cock. A good deal of routine business v/as transacted. It was decided to prefer a request to the Education Board for a new shelter shed for boys, the present one being now unfit for use. Authority was given for the erection of a saddle shelter. Mr Fraser, member for the board, was in attendance, and discussed several matters to be placed before that body. Mr Jenks suggested that an excursion for the scholars be organised this year to Woodville, and after some conversa* tion this was agreed to. The secretary was empowered to make arrangements, and then consult the committee. Tht usual accounts were passed for pay* ment.
