Ten steamers which were engaged in carrying coal and provisions to Vladivostok are icebound outside and are destined to be captured. General Nogi’s troops which were released by the fall of Port Arthur# have occupied positions on General Oku’s extreme left and General Kami* mnra’s and Kuroki’s right. A fifth Japanese army is concen* traing in north Korea. CAPTURED AT THE BAYONET’S POINT. LONDON, Feb 26. General Sakharoff reports that the Japanese captured Berseneff Hill at the bayonet point, advancing over the bodies of their own dead and exploding surface mines, and under barbed w>re entanglements. The Japanese losses were considerable, but the Russian losses have not yet been ascertained. The attack on Tasyhng Pass was repulsed.
