Cooper’s Biograph Coy.
The above company drew a full house at the Public Hall last night, and certainly the entertainment proved an enjoyable one. The pictures thrown upon the screen were not only novel but entertaining, especially the miscellaneous class, which brought forth marked approval from the andniece. The presentation of the New Zealand-EngHsh football match films and the Russo-Japanese war slides deserve special mention. The old favourite “ Blue Bell ” was rendered by Mr Sheldon, whose voice was in good trim, who also contributed “ He lives in a world on his own ” in equally good style. Miss Lillie Sheldon won the admiration of her listeners by serio-comic items, especially by her rendering of “ For a Girl.” Mr Kindly lias appeared before to a Foxton audience, and his ventriloquial powers are also so favourably received that this portion of the programme needs little comment. His voice-pro-duction has improved if anything, and his gags are original, which made the “ turn ” more enjoyable than ever. Mrs F. Walls played the piano accompaniments throughout in an artistic manner.
