Manawatu Rowing Club.
A meeting of the committee of the ah >ve club was held in Mr Moore s office on Thursday evening, tnoro being present —Capt. B. G. Gower, and 'Messrs Stiles, Healey, and Monro t secretary). Mr Gower referred to the publication of Mr Jenson's tender in the report of the last Committee nleeting. The secret,arv explained that he had piirnocclv omitted any reference to the lender from his report, because lie did not think it proper to publish one of the lenders when others wefn called for, and was considerably surprised in reading the publication of the report to imd Unit the tender had been included. He did not know where the Hrwaco had 'drained information about Ma- lender.
Mr A. C-nuk ami A. Sliadholt were eleeied members of the Club. The meeting had been called to consider a report as to trespass on the Chib's property by certain persons who were not members, but owing to the absence of a committee man who possessed the information necessary to go into the matter, it was decided to postpone the business until his attendance could he obtained.
