Cooper’s Biograph Coy.

The above well-known company will pay a visit to Foxton next week, giving a performance on Monday next at the Public Hall. Mr Cooper is the oldest animated picture entertainer in the colony, and is entitled to credit tor being the most up-to-date in his business. There is not an event of interest or stirring excitement that has occurred within the last seven years but Mr Cooper has had reproduced and thrown on the screen at his entertainments. His last enterprise is a record for New Zealand, having reproduced the British-New Zealand football match three days after it was played, the films showing many of the game. The following is taken from the New Zealand Times ; —“Cooper’s Biograph Company performed at the Opera House. The military and naval pictures were very well received. Some very fine moving pictures, taken on the occasion of the match between Great Britain and New Zealand were thrown on the screen. They were very realistic, and the audience testified in unmistakable manner its appreciation of the merits of the presentments.’’ Illustrated songs will be rendered during the evening. Sheldon, the famous ventriloquist, also appears with the company. Miss Lillie Sheldon, the charming serio comic, and Mr Kindly, the well-known baritone, in illustrated songs.
