Wreck of the Orizaba.
PERTH. Feb. 17. The Orizaba is ashore at Garden Island. This accident occurred during hazy weather. The vessel vras sixteen miles from Fremantle and ten mile* off her proper course. . When the Lady Forrest the Orizaba the passengers transferred to the tug Gannet, but a® the night was? extremely dark the Gannet was not expected to reacm Fremantle until after midnight. Captain Arundel, of the Underwriters, states the vessel is moving a. little on the rocks and sand. He conaiders there will be considerable difficulty in getting her off. . . THe weather at present is t’aim mu threatening. Should it come utf touga the vessel will go to pieces quickly.
