The ; Department of Agriculture will i supply a manager to take charge of j the competition under the direction ■of the Association. Birds engaged | must not be less than six months old ’ or more than 18-months old on May ■ Ist next, and the competition will be open to pens of six purebred birds of any variety. The total number of eggs laid by each pen will decide the competition. Prizes are offered for quarterly laying, half-year'y laying, and also for the full length of time of the competition.
