Foxton Athletic Club.

A meeting ot the above Committee was held at the Post Office Hotel on Thursday night, (Mr G. Gray in the chair), when the following business was transacted :

The sum of £33 was voted towards the cost of reforming and alterations necessary to the cycling track, the amount to be spent on condition that a tar track is laid down.

A deputation, consisting of the following gentlemen, Messrs F. Martin, J. Frew, G. Gray and M* Perreau, was authorised to wait on the Borough Council at the next meeting to endeavour to get the Council to supplement the balance necessary to complete the track. A vote of thanks to the chair, and to Mr Gray for the use of the room, concluded the meeting.
