—— THE AUSTRALIAN FLAGSHIP. SYDNEY, Nov. «. H.M.S. Euryalus, the flagship of the Australian squadron, has returned from Singapore, where Admiral Fanshawe attended a conference ot naval commanders. The squadron will rendezvous at Hodart early in January, and thence Admiral Fanshawe, in the Euryalus, is to proceed 'sn a cruise round the coast of New Zealand. A BIG ARMY SCHEME. * LONDON, Nov. aa. General Kitchener’s scheme for the reorganisation of the Indian army provides for three army corps. General Blood is to command the northern corps, .General Hunter the western, and General Gaseleee the eastern. Divisional commanders are to be stationed at Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Quetta, Poona, Meerut, Lucknow, Secunderabad, and Rangoon. When mobilisation is ordered, it will he possible to concentrate in a few hours eight field forces, each fifteen to twenty thousand strong, along the frontier. The scheme will cost five million pounds. BOUND FOR BRITISH COLUMBIA. PARIS, Nov. 22.
