Theodore Roosevelt to the head of affairs, and what a glorious victory it was for him. His majority was simply overwhelming, which firmly voices the popularity of his good work during his late term. “ Nothing succeeds like success " is the motto President Roosevelt can lay claim to. His whole public, career has been one long H§t of successes, but perhaps his most important work, since he rose to the rank of President in 1901, was his connection with the Panama Canal Treat/. As the President is still in the prime of life, we may expect his present term of office to be productive of much good work-—not only beneficial to the countless millions of the great Republic, but to the inhabitants of the whole world. Theodore Roosevelt has announced that on no account will he allow himself to be again nominated for the Presidency.
