Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 20s, To start at 4.50 p.m. Races Nos. 3 and 7 (first day), and 3,6, and 8 (second day), are open to all horses, the rest of the events are for hacks only. Penalties.— Flat Races—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101bs., and of every additional race a further penalty of 71bs. Horses handicapped at Bst lOibs or over to carry half the above penalties. Hurdle Races.— The winner of any Hurdle Race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOibs in the Hurdle Race, and for every additional race a further penalty of 7ibs. Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Hurdles and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), close with the Secretary at Foxton, on SATURDAY, January 7th, 1905, at 9 p.m. Weights for First Doy will ba declared on or about January 12th. Acceptances for First Day. and entries for Maiden Hack Hurdles ond Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day) close on MONDAY, January 16th, 1905, at 9 p.m. Weights for Second Day’s races will be declared on Monday, January 23rd, 1905, at about 8 p.m. Acceptances close same eveving at 9.30 p.m. Definition of a Hack. —A Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs., or races of the collective value of 200 sovs., sinpe Ist August, 1899, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting.
