LAND FIGHTING. JAPS AGGRESSIVE: AGAIN. General Sakharoff reports a Japanese forward movement against the extreme left wing. The Japanese have occupied Sandspu, the position of the Russian right wing. Official Tokio despatches describes tunnel mining and counter mining, attacks on miners, and desperate fights in the trenches. Dynamite was used on both sides. Shells disabled the battleship Peresviet, fired another wawhip and damaged others. The Japanese retain the captured positions.
