LOCAL BODIES’ LEASES BILL. The following is a copy of the clause Mr Vile wished inserted in the above Bill; — “ 13a. Such rents derived and to be derived by the Foxton Borough Council from the Foxton Reserves, being Sections numbered 477 and 410 on the plan ot the Township ot Foxton, in the Manawatu District, as are not actually from time to time expended upon such reserves may be applied and administered by the said Foxton Borough Council upon the improvement of the Victoria Park and other public gardens and public reserves within the Borough of Foxton.” Mr Vile has been informed that the Government will not allow this clause to be added, but he hopes to get it in an empowering bill this session or next.
