Foxton Athletic Club.
A meeting of the above Club was held at Mr .Gray’s Hotel last night, Mr J. Frew being voted to the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Mr E. G, Sutherland’s tender for the correct cards was accepted. Mr W. Pefreau’s tender of £4 4s for catering was also accepted. The secretary was instructed to write to the Town Clerk for permission to hold the sports in Victoria Park, A vote of thanks to the chair and to Mr Gray for the use of the room concluded the meeting.
