DIX’S ENTETAINERS. Of the “ shows that come and the shows that go " that with which Mr P. R. Dix will seek the suffrages of a Foxton audience to-morrow evening bears upon the face of It the Impress of the most promising character. Headed by a family of famous per. formers, “The Gotham Quartette,” celebrated throughout the Halls of England, America, and Australia, but as yet entirely new to New Zealand, and supported by a number of artistes, each one a specialty in herself or himself, the venture of Mr Dix in making a flying tour throughout the provinces with such a powerful and expensive combination is a most -enterprising one, and on the occasion of their only appearance in Foxton to morrow it is safe to say the Hall will be inadequate to accommodate the audience. Popular prices will be charged, vlx., as and ts.
