General Oku reports that the Rushans left Taschichiao and Newkia tun ablaze.
The Japanese are pursuing the Russians northwards. The commander of the Takushan trmy reports that the Russians hoisted the Japanese flag at Pangiing, and that the Russians fired a /olley when the Japanese aoknow'edged it by hoisting their flag. General Oku reports several indances of groSs barbarity oti the part the Russians towards the Japanese lead at Taschichiao.
A Russian correspondent states he battle at faschichiao produced •ome desperate bayonet fighting. In one charge the Japanese had heir two loading ranks shot down, mt still persisted in the attack. The general staff at St. Petersburg leny the report that General Kurolatkin was wduncled. ■
The steamer Korea has arrived at Yokohama. She must have passed dose to the Vladivostok squadron during the night*

Chifii refugees state mines destroyed a Japanese cruiser and a gunboat on Thursday night. Russia purchased 200,000 tons of Welsh coal for delivery daring August and September. It is believed the bulk is intended for Vladivostock. RUSSIAN TROOPS GRUMBLING.
The Vladivostock squadron were in East Tsugarn Straits at one o’clock on Saturday. It is reported that four Japanese warships were chasing other vessels in the vicinity. Admiral Skrydloff reports that' the \rabia has arrived at Vladivostock Her cargo included 1200 tons of railway material consigned to Japanese ports and 20 500 sacks of flour. I he Russian troops are grumbling over the constant retreats
The mountainous country has rendered the transport of the wounded difficult, many being obliged to walk
