On Thursday, 4th, August, Messrs Pearson & Co., the purchasers of the stock.of drapery and clothing in the assigned estate of Edmund Osborne, intend to sacrifice the balance left by way of a farewell sale which will con* tinuefor 14 days. This firm intend closing in Foxton shortly, and this sale is to be without 'doubt an absolutely genuine one, everything being marked down to rock-bottom prices, in fact, as their advertisement says,Goods not sold will be given away." Slit large cases of new-goods from their Wellington house have arrived, and are being opened up and will be sold at sacrificing prices. Visitors to Manchester House during the period of the sale will be many, we have no doubt.
