T« THE EDITOR 0? THE MANAWATO HERALD. Sib, —Would you kindly inform me who is responsible for allowing a certain local carrier to carry heavy loads in a dray, the wheels of which have 2-inch tyres. I think this is very unfair to other owners of drays, who, I understand, are compelled to use drays, the wheels of which have tyres not under 4 inches. I am, &c., Fairplay. [We would advise our correspondent to bring his grievance under the notice of the Borough Council.— Ed. M.H.]
