Mishap to British Warships.
The British torpedo destroyer Sparrowhawk struck an unehartered rock at the mouth of the Yangtsekiang and sank. No lives were lost The destroyers Bat and. Stag collided near Agaccio during the night manoeuvres of the squadron. The Bat sank but the crew were saved.
