THE ADVANCE ON MUKDEN.
The Japanese are within fifteen miles of Haioheng. Colonel Gatike, correspondent of the Berlin newspaper Tageblatt, telegraphs from Mukden that the Japanese are advancing parallel with the railway from Niuchwang to Liaoyang, their right moving cautiously while- their left wing is advancing with persistence. Strong bodies of Russian cavalry are watching both flanks. Harbin te'egraras announce the arrival of three ambulance trains with large numbers of soldiers who were wounded in the Yalu fight.
