A Mysterious Disease.

DESTRUCTION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS. Noumean news says a mysterious disease has been raging for three weeks, there being great destruction amongst dogs, cats, pigs, fowls, rabbits, and rats. Also, attacks on human beings, mostly children, hare resulted in a few deaths. Experiments have disclosed that while the disease is highly infectious it is nothing akin to plague. It is described as a kind of paralysis. Strict precautions are being taken.
