The story of the discovery of human bones and bangles in the interior of a crocodile captured at

He gave his information to a wealthy wool dealer, who bought all the season’s clip at 9d per lb, and sold at 3s after the news of war had arrived by the ordinary channel. He cleared, it is said, four millions by the deal. The man who killed the shark and extracted the news of war—well, he received a battered silk hat and a five shilling piece, and unrestrained liberty as to the disposal of the shark.
