The Agent-General cables: —The hemp market is steady with moderate demand. The price New Zealand hemp, good fair Wellington, grade on spot to-day is, £Bl to £32 per ton. April to June shipments, £BO to £3O 10s. Present stock is eight hundred and seventy-five tons against lour hundred and forty-two tons on hand at this date laso year. April to June shipments of fair current grade Manila hemp are quoted at £Bl 10s.
