Mark Moicliff,” the village blacksmith, Mr Taylor also very clever character sketches, Joe £Veazle,” a Lancashire lad, and Swizdeheim,” a drunken Dutchman. Miss Carrington, as “ Marah, ” the Gipsy Queen, also has an excellent character, which m her capable hands, receives a perfect representation. The rest _of tie cast (a rather long on#;, is filled by the actors and actresses comprising the Taylor-Carriogton i ompany, and as the piece is well mounted and staged, playgoers may confidently expect an enjoyable performance.
