Wellington Wool and Skin Sales. Messrs Levin & Co. Ltd., report;— We offered to-day 1200 skins and ft quantity of hides, tallow and bag wool. All wool in bales is being held over for sale on 18th March, at which sale several outside buyers will be present. Prices for skins were very firm. We quote Skins—Merino, 6|d to 7d ; halfbreds, 6d to 6sd ; fine crossbreds, sid to 6d ; coarse, 5d to 5Jd ; dead 3|d to 4d ; pelts, to Is 4d each. Hides— Ox hides, 17s Gd to 235; cow hides, 18s to 16s Gd. Tallow—Good mixed, 20s to 20s Gd ; station fat, 17s to 18s; rough fat, 13s to 14s. Wellington, 4th March, 1904.
