Wellington Wool and Skin Sales.
Messrs Levin & Co. Ltd,, report:— We offered to-day a considerable quantity of wool in bags and fadges, and 1700 skins. There is no change in prices to record. We quote— Skins—Merinos, 6£d to 7d ; halfbreds, 6d to 6Jd ; fine crossbreds, 5Jd to 6d ; coarse, 5d to 5Jd; dead, 3kd to Id ; lambs, Id to 4|d. Hides—ln good demand: Ox hides, 17s 6d to 235; Cow hides, 13s to 16s 6d ; calf skins, Is to 2s. Tallow—Good mixed, 20s to 20s 6d; station fat, 17s to 18s; rough, 13s to 15s.
