Motor Car Accident.

Mr George Howe, of Palmerston, accompanied by three gentleman and two young ladies, were going from Sandon to Palmerston in a motor car, and while rounding a bend at the top of Mount Stewart the car capsized, throwing the occupants out. Mr Howe, who is 8o years of age, and was the late proprietor of the Royal Hotel, Palmerston North, sustained injuries but not of a serious nature. The others had a marvellous escape. The car was smashed.—Standard.
