Foxton Racing Club.

COMMITTEE MEETING.

A Committee meeting of the above Club was helcf last evening at the Club's office. Present—Dr Bennett (in the chair), 0. Robinson, 0. Robinson, W. Barber, J. Symons, A. Lifting, P. Jenks and secretary. Minutes of previous meetings were read and confirmed. Inward correspondence was read. After considerable discussion it was proposed by W. Barber, seconded by P. Jenks,' That the Club retain all privileges with the tion of publican’s booths and hojßßj enclosure. Carried. Proposed by P. Jenks, seconded b> 0. Robinson, That Langley Bros.’ offer to cater for luncheon be accepted, subject to the bill of fare being submitted to and approved of by the Committee, Carried. The secretary was requested to make final arrangements re special trains, and also to call for tenders for publican's booths. The offers of Messrs Hayes and Bradcook, and Stewards, re right of legal games, and J. L. Wiltshire re selling cards, were held over.
