All protests must be made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a deposit of xos, which will be forfeited should the protest be considered frivolous, and all protests agaiast competitors entering under false or, incorrect performance shall be decided at S o'clock in the evening, or later if the Committee deem necessary, and all prize money held over. No competitor shall be allowed to sit on any protest, nor give any information unless asked for.

The Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in connection with carrying out this programme. Costumes to be approved of by the Committee, and any person not running in the colours sent in will be fined as fid, and any competitor not making the required declaration shall not be entitled to claim any prize. Admission to Ground, Adults, is; Children under 12, half-price. Refreshment Booth on the ground. Special Trains from Feilding and Palmerston North. Excursions on river for visitors.
