AH protests must be made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a deposit of xos, which will be forfeited should the protest be considered frivolous, and all protests against competiors entering under false or incorrect performance shall be decided at 8 o’clock in the evening, or later if the Committee deem necessary, and all prize money held over. Nocompetitor shall be allowed to sit on any protest, nor give any information unless asked for. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in connection with carrying out this programme. Costumes to be approved of by the Committee, and any person mot running in the colours sent in will be fined as 6d, and any competitor n °t making the required declaration shall not be entitled to claim any prize. Admission to Ground, Adults, is; Children under 12, half-price. Refreshment Booth on the ground. Special Trains from Feildihg and Palmerston North. Excursions on river for visitors.
