Fatality at Rongotea.
YOUNG MAN "CRUSHED TO DEATH.
A fatal accident occurred at Rongotea on Wednesday afternoon to Mr S. Griffiths. The accident happened in a moat simple manner. Dropping the reins the young man jumped on to the shafts to pick them up The horse swerved, and he fell underneath, two wheels going over hi* chest. The deceased was quite conscious to the last.
After being and carried into Hickfoad’s boardinghouse, Dr Hanitty attended to Mr Griffiths, but while bandaging him he passed away about half an hour after the accident. H© was about x 22 years of age, and a son of Bar. Wesleyan Minister, but now of
