YOUNG MAN "CRUSHED TO DEATH.

A fatal accident occurred at Rongotea on Wednesday afternoon to Mr S. Griffiths. The accident happened in a moat simple manner. Dropping the reins the young man jumped on to the shafts to pick them up The horse swerved, and he fell underneath, two wheels going over hi* chest. The deceased was quite conscious to the last.
