B&J~May I crave a few lines of your valuable space for the correction of a .statement In your paper of Taeagayy 18th August, wherein you state that North East Valley Borough la tbe largest in the colony. 1 think . you must have misread the figures. the’N.Z. Year Book, 1902, gives ; tba-fnllowing areas of Boroughs in acres (1 quote the six largest only), - Fdxton 6760, Hastings 6740, Brun- , -ner 6700, Motueba 6648, Karori ‘ 6127,. Sumner 6876, while North ' East Yalley is some distance further down the list with 8980 acres; so after all “ our little Borough,” as it is sometimes patronizingly called, is really the largest in the colony.
