Fatal Accident at Levin
CRUSHED TO DEAEH. On Thursday afternoon .a young man named Giles was crushed to death while employed in the bush from which the logs are taken Mr Bartholomew’s Levin sawmill. ' • From information to hand, it appears that Giles and others were “ jacking " a log on a trolly when the tram gave way, the log rolling ouer the unfortunate man with the result as stated Death w.as instantaneous. Giles was a married man and in additien to his widow, leaves one child to mourn their loss.
