Dix’s Gaiety Co.
TO-NIGHT.
the members and staff of Mr P. E. Dix’s Touring Gaiety Co. arrived in town to-day by the mid-day train, bringing with them their own special scenery and effects, so as to be able to fttage the performance on the same complete scale as in the large centres. So much has been heard lately about the merits of the company that little more remains to be said, except that we recommend all classes of the community to visit the Public Hall this evening and enjoy the genuine treat to be provided. Mr Harry Gee, business manager for Mr Dix, reports phenomenal business on the tour So far, and states that if the Poxton public roll up in their numbers this evening, they will shortly have another opportunity of seeing the next company to tour the colony under Mr Dix's direction. Seats may still be secured in advance *at Mr Alf. Fraser’s. The doors will be opened punctually at 7.15 to avoid crushing, and the fun will commence at 8 o’clock.
